We were thrilled to have Lynne & Veta join us from Dargaville at our March meeting. Our demo topic was christening gowns. Lynne showed us to do this, by piping royal icing on to tulle. But little did we know Lynne & Veta had many other treats in store for us. There was a palm tree, colourful leaves, small fillers for bouquets. Enjoy the photos
Lynne showed us how to thicken the tree trunk with paper towel, cover with brown floral tape, then add string around trunk, to get the lines of a plam tree trunk. It was so simple, yet so perfect!
This little bouquet filler was a fondant covered ball. coated with sugar & lustre, a little calyx forms the top
